A Slower Start We joined the full-day Nuremberg tour, which used public transport throughout. The day started a little slower because our train was delayed for almost half an hour, and everyone had to wait around the platform. Since we were still recovering from the long Neuschwanstein trip the day before, all of us felt tired.

Journey to the Alps We started the morning with an easy pickup from our hotel, settling into the van as the winter sun slowly climbed above Munich. The ride toward Zugspitze , Germany’s highest peak, felt peaceful. In the van, our girl leaned comfortably on my lap, both of us enjoying the mountain views through the window.

A Gentle Morning We spent the morning on a slow and relaxing walk around Munich. Our daughter had a great time at the playground near our boarding house, laughing on the swings while we enjoyed the crisp winter air. From there, we wandered toward Königsplatz, stopping for a few photos among the grand historic buildings.
