A Different Kind of Day
Day 13 felt completely different from the days before. Less mountains, more sparkle and imagination. We made our way to Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens, curious but not quite sure what to expect.
The moment we arrived, the iconic Giant welcomed us, quiet, mysterious, and somehow a little magical. It already felt like we were stepping into another world.
Inside the Chambers of Wonder
Inside, the experience unfolded slowly.
Each room felt different some dark and quiet, others bright and almost overwhelming. Crystals reflected light in every direction, turning simple spaces into something immersive and dreamlike.
We didn’t rush. We walked slowly, letting each installation speak for itself. It wasn’t just about crystals it was about how light, design, and creativity come together to create something you can actually feel.
Some rooms felt almost endless, like standing inside light itself. Others were playful, unexpected, even a little surreal the kind of places where you don’t just look, you pause and take it in.
It was one of those experiences that’s hard to explain properly. Photos capture the beauty, but not quite the feeling of being inside it.
Back to the Gardens
Stepping outside felt like coming back to earth.
The gardens were calm and open, with art installations placed gently across the landscape. After the intensity inside, everything here felt softer fresh air, open sky, and space to just walk without thinking too much.
A Simple, Good Lunch
We stopped at Daniels Kristallwelten for lunch.
Simple, but really good. Warm, comforting dishes and a quiet space to slow down for a bit. The apple strudel stood out, light, not too sweet, and just right.
A small break, but one that made the day feel complete.
Ending the Day Gently
We spent a bit more time walking through the gardens before heading back.
There was no rush, just a slow walk and the last light of the day. It felt calm in a different way from the mountains, but just as nice.
